The award-winning Dower House serves a Modern British menu; chef David Campbell and his team love their all-new kitchen, and that enthusiasm translates into exquisite, creative dishes.

Who knew chocolate and eucalyptus go together? (You may hear your fellow diners marvelling loudly over the chef’s artistry – the praise is fully deserved.) The full, fabulous tasting menu is served on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, but you won’t go hungry mid-week with all-day dishes served in the restaurant or the beautifully manicured garden.

Sip & Savour

They’ll mix anything you like (the classic negronis are perfect) and the blue-and-gold bar across the hall from the restaurant’s a pleasant place to sit and sip a while.

The Royal Crescent hotel features an award winning Spa offering a host of relaxing treatments to enjoy as well as first-class facilities including a 12-metre heated Relaxation Pool, Vitality Pool with massage jets, Sauna, Steam Inhalation Room and fully equipped Fitness Room.

Located in the historic converted coaching houses, these rooms have views overlooking the city.

Room decor borrows from Bath’s Georgian past, with pastel-hued walls, elegant prints and large beds – some are king-size, the majority are queen-size.

There’s an ensuite with a shower over a bath tub (some have a walk-in shower only), and rooms have a flatscreen TV, iPod dock, bathrobes and slippers, air-conditioning and Noble Isle bath products.

heritage room

These Heritage rooms overlook the sprawling private garden or have beautiful views of Bath. Each room is decorated in classic style, with eccentric touches, such as chicken prints hung on the walls, chintz patterns of lavish proportions and giant tartan headboards. 

There’s a queen- or king-size bed, an ensuite with a shower over the bath tub (some have walk-in showers only) and rooms have a flatscreen TV, iPod dock, bathrobe and slippers, free bottled water, air-conditioning and Noble Isle bath products.

These spacious rooms have a large bedroom and a separate living room, and they’re dotted throughout the hotel. Unique layouts and characterful features – bold patterns and eye-catching colour schemes – make these bedrooms a popular choice.

deluxe suite

Set throughout the hotel, these suites have views of the Royal Crescent or the hotel’s acre of private garden. Individually decorated and each with a unique layout, these suites are gracious and serene with Georgian-style colour schemes.

 Each suite has a king-size bed (some have four-posters) and an ensuite with a combined bath tub and shower (three have a separate shower). Suites have a flatscreen TV, iPod dock, bathrobe and slippers, free bottled water, air-conditioning and Noble Isle bath products.

master suite

Situated in House 15 and House 16 of the Royal Crescent, these suites have views over the Royal Crescent or the hotel’s acre of private garden. Individually decorated and each with a unique layout, Master Suites resemble a gracious Georgian home with all mod cons.

Beds are elaborate four-poster or pencil-post, chandeliers dangle from ceilings with delicate mouldings and ensuite bathrooms have a shower over the bath tub. Suites have a flatscreen TV, iPod dock, bathrobe and slippers, free bottled water, air-conditioning and Noble Isle bath products.

Perfect break away for two...
