The Astra Private Villa in Santorini is a cosy, cave-like retreat on the edge of the Astra Suites hotel. The highlight is the sunset-favouring setting, where both the Aegean and the island’s famous sunsets are delivered straight to your day-bed.
There are two whitewashed bedrooms, one of which leads directly to the pool; each has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The beds are king-size, but can be made into twins in one of the rooms on request.
With curvaceous interiors and ocean-views to boot, this two-storey private villa reflects Santorini’s classic whitewashed style.
On the ground floor there’s a small but fully-equipped kitchen, a guest bathroom and an open-plan living area with neutral sofas, a television and a dining table with space for six guests.
Children are welcome, but the villa is on a cliff and there are no special facilities for mini guests.
Downstairs, you’ll find a second kitchen, a sauna and a gym.
You’ll be welcomed with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit; your stay also includes daily breakfast, twice-daily maid service, concierge service and a personal attendant.
