Lekkerwater Beach Lodge is located a three hour car drive from Cape Town International Airport.
Just over three hours drive from Cape Town, in the eastern, most exclusive sector of De Hoop Nature Reserve, is Lekkerwater Beach Lodge at De Hoop. Lekkerwater was selected for its extraordinary beauty and seclusion to be ex-President FW de Klerk’s ‘Camp David’ and today offers a homely and comfortable beach and fynbos experience.
It is set on a five-kilometre stretch of pristine beach, with each of its seven bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling glass windows with verandas for panoramic views, wood burning stoves and homely furnishings. Activities-wise, the lodge offers a wide choice of walks with experienced naturalists, an array of fynbos to be discovered, a plethora of marine life to be explored in the many tidal pools, extensive bird-watching.
Lekkerwater operates guaranteed arrivals every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Kindly note your timings should be such that you arrive at the Lekkerwater Car Park at around 2pm on your arrival day. Here you will be met and transferred the last 6km on rough tracks over the mountain in the lodge’s 4×4. Lekkerwater Beach Lodge itself is not accessible by private
