no.1 Top tip
panorama restaurant

If you love sunsets, incredible views and divine dining then look no further than the Panorama Restaurant! Situated high in the cliffs, it is only accessible on the cable car from Dubrovnik old town.

Enjoy a spectacular view of the old city, the wider landscapes surrounding, the island of Lokrum, the bay of Lapad and the islands of Elaphite. It is certainly a view that is picture worthy and unforgettable.

We had a front row table and these are just the incredible. Once again, WOW WOW WOW were my main words that evening because what I was experiencing.  These tables are in high demand, so make sure to book early!

This is also the perfect restaurant for a romantic date day or night or even if you wanted to ask that very important question to a loved one. We can work closely with the restaurant to help you to make your proposal that extra special and memorable!

no.2 top tip
game of thrones filming locations

I LOVE the TV programme, Game of Thornes, so finding out that there were several locations where they filmed just got me bursting with excitement! You can either pre book an organised walking tour and they take you around and talk in depth about the location and what was filmed there from the programme OR you can easily walk and explore yourself.

As I am a very big fan of the show, we managed to spot several iconic filming locations including Black Water Bay, where the riot takes place against Joffrey and the well known ‘Walk of shame’ episode where Cersei walks down the steps. You can walk down these same steps and it makes you feel like you’re there in that moment.

There are so many of the filming locations that you can just fall upon as you stroll leisurely through the city.

LOVED every single minute of this experience.

no.3 top tip
Coral Beach club

If you are like me and still like to be by the sea (even on a city break), then Dubrovnik ticks this box!

Make sure that you checkout the Coral Beach Club as they have relaxing Cabanas and sun loungers that you can hire for the day to enjoy the sunshine and a few of your favourite drinks!

The perfect place to enjoy a glass of champagne while listening to chilled out music and beautiful sea views.

Tip – If travelling in high season then pre-book a cabana on the front row for the best experience.

no.4 top tip
Walk the city walls

To experience amazing views of the old city without having to go up a cable car to a cliff, (and maybe to walk off all the calories from the delicious food you have indulged in), then make sure that you buy a ticket to walk around the city walls.

Take in the this magnificent part of history and enjoy the views of all parts of the Old town.

Perfect if you are looking for those perfect, envious photo’s to show your friends and family!

I would recommend to do this early in the morning to avoid large crowds as it can get busy at peak times and some parts of the wall are quite narrow.

There are many steps involved, so this would not be suitable to anyone with walking difficulties.

no.5 top tip
Drinks in a cave bar

Looking for something quirky while in Dubrovnik? Then head over to More Hotel which is the home to the ‘Cave Bar’.

This is the place where you can enjoy either your morning coffee, spend the afternoon sipping cocktails, or finish the day with a glass of the finest champagne.

Visit the unique natural cave and enjoy your favourite drink!

The bar also host’s a terrace where you can relax in the sun and enjoy the sea views. It can also be an ideal spot for organizing various events – weddings, unforgettable proposals and celebrations.
