Upon arrival to the hotel, you drive towards the Atlantis The Palm and wonder where Atlantis The Royal could be, but then you turn right, and then the lights appear, and you are in awe and amazement with its presence. The strangest shape of hotels & also the most lit up hotel that I have ever seen, but it was truly breath-taking.
As soon as you pull up outside of the reception, you know instantly that you are in luxury!! From the drive up, the cars parked, the guests waiting to go on their luxury night out and the first class concierge service from the reception to your room.
Even walking into the hotel has a fire inferno waterfall, how is that even possible!
The immediate large sculptures in the lobby are eye catching to say the least, which resembles the first raindrop in the desert, with a splash creating this awesome structure.
There is a significant step up in class from the Atlantis The Palm as it looks and smells new, and everything about it matches perfectly. The Atlantis The Palm is clearly the leading family resort around the world, and then this property, the Atlantis The Royal, is now a leading resort for couples and families looking for that extra wow factor.
As this is part of the Atlantis family of hotels, you can utilise both hotels restaurants, giving you access to over 30 restaurants and bars, but keeping everything in one location. The staff will gladly arrange a golf buggy or luxury car to transfer you over to the hotel, or a really short walk down be the beach. You also still get access daily to the largest Waterpark in Dubai, Aquaventure where no matter age you are, you will have a fun filled day out. You also get to enjoy the long stretch of beach that runs across both hotels and you get the best view of the Palm and Dubai city.
Dining here is certainly next level, as they offer various dining choices with well renowned chefs and restaurants from worldwide destinations all in one place. My favourite dining destinations would be Ling Ling and Nobu by the beach. 
Ling Ling is located on the 23rd floor with 180 degree views, so as you can imagine, they are breath-taking. The food here is Asian and the best I have tasted. High quality food, a great service from the staff and later in the evening you could stay for a drink and enjoy the  music and atmosphere. 
Nobu by the beach is the perfect spot if you are looking for a place to relax in the day under the blue sky, enjoy the sunshine and indulge on divine dining! Relax in your own cabana where you can sip on your favourite drink and enjoy Japanese-Peruvian bites and just watch the world go by. This is a must spot to visit when coming to Atlantis The Royal.

Atlantis The Royal is pretty much twice the height of The Atlantis The Palm, with 43 floors, compared to 22 floors. Atlantis The Royal benefits greatly with all of what Atlantis The Palm offers, but the added class and ultra luxury that comes with The Atlantis The Royal.
The rooms on offering can cater to your budget, and make you feel like you’re home away from home. You can choose from a Luxury Guestroom to a Suite which offer your very own private pool, bar, butler service and an E-Butler, where at a click of a button, you will have your catering requirements brought to you. All have a very clean, modern design and they feel very bright and spacious. They also offer views of either the Ocean or the Palm, so no matter where you look, you will wake up each morning with a gorgeous view.
I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for something that is modern, offers complete luxury, a wide range of facilities and a first class concierge service. I would say that 3 or 4 nights is ideal here, then combine with another location such as the Maldives, Bali or the Seychelles. Perfect break away for two...
